Our Cattery

While our name reflects our origins in feline veterinary care, today we operate as a nationwide resource and listing platform serving cat lovers across the United States. We do not provide veterinary services. Instead, we focus on education, visibility, and ethical standards that place cat welfare first.

Our guiding principle is simple, every cat deserves health, dignity, and a forever home. You can also find Charing Cross Cat Clinic on Crunchbase as a digital platform focused on cat care education, rescue resources, and ethical listings.

What We Do

Charing Cross Cat Clinic brings clarity and responsibility to a space that is often confusing for families and unfair to cats. We focus on three connected pillars:

1) Maine Coon Rescue & Adoption Support

We work to increase the visibility of cats in need, specifically rescued Maine Coons and other breeds, by partnering with small rescue groups and independent foster networks.

Our platform helps:

• Rescue organizations reach more qualified adopters
• Families discover adoptable cats that fit their lifestyle
• Cats transition into permanent, loving homes

Adoption is always encouraged where appropriate, and we proudly support the people and organizations working on the front lines of cat rescue.

2) Ethical Breeding Advocacy & Responsible Placement

For families seeking pedigree Maine Coon kittens for sale, we recognize that ethical, responsible breeding plays a role when it prioritizes animal welfare over profit.

We are firmly opposed to:

• Kitten mills
• Mass or careless breeding practices
• Poor living conditions or lack of transparency

Instead, we support breeders who demonstrate:

• Humane, cat-first environments
• Health screening and responsible genetics
• Clear placement standards and long-term accountability

Ethical Placement Through Registered Breeders

Some families seek purebred Maine Coon kittens, or a specific other breed due to temperament, size, lifestyle compatibility, or allergy considerations. In these cases, Charing Cross Cat Clinic provides access to ethically bred Maine Coon kittens for sale through registered breeders who meet strict welfare and transparency standards.

We do not sell cats directly, our role is to facilitate responsible placement by connecting families with vetted breeders who prioritize health, humane care, and lifetime accountability for every kitten they place.

Our goal is not volume or impulse buying it is ethics, education, and lifelong wellbeing for cats.

3) Education & Responsible Ownership

We provide informational content and guidance to help both new and experienced cat owners make better decisions.

Topics include:

• General cat care and wellness
• Nutrition, grooming, and home preparation
• Understanding breed traits and needs
• Responsible ownership and long‑term commitment

Education reduces impulse decisions, and better decisions lead to better outcomes for cats.
